“A bad boy, but a good man.” Someone once described Rivers Rutherford that way…so of course he turned the backhanded compliment into a Tim McGraw hit. That bold and bad attitude has been country gold for Rivers. His first cut was by none other than Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson (not bad at all.) He went on to write songs for Trace Adkins, Gary Allan, Brooks and Dunn and Brad Paisley, among many others. At Barnegie Hall, Rivers performs a rockin "Real Good Man.”
